# How Hotels Connect reads your rates

Authorisation, scope, accuracy and how to revoke access.

## What authorisation does a hotel grant?

When you join Hotels Connect you confirm that you are authorised to act for each property and that Hotels Connect may read the **publicly available rates on that hotel's own booking website**. You do not grant Hotels Connect access to your PMS, channel manager or private extranet — only the same rates any guest can see on your direct booking flow.

## What rates are read?

Hotels Connect reads live room rates from the booking URL you provide. Those rates are converted into an ARI feed — see [Google's ARI documentation](https://developers.google.com/hotels/hotel-prices/dev-guide/ari-overview) — and published to Google Hotel Center. Coverage delivered to Google: up to 180 days ahead, 2-person occupancy, stays of 1 to 7 nights.

## How is accuracy maintained?

Hotels Connect refreshes rates using a learned model that predicts when each property's prices are likely to have changed, rather than polling on a fixed schedule. Google performs landing-page price checks on Free Booking Links; Hotels Connect targets parity between the rate on your booking site and the rate shown on Google.

## How can a hotel revoke access?

Remove a property from your Hotels Connect dashboard or cancel your subscription at any time. You can also email hello@hotels-connect.com to request immediate removal. Revoking access stops new rate reads and triggers removal from your Google feed.
