This policy explains the cookies and similar browser technologies used on hotels-connect.com and the Hotels Connect platform.
The short version
- We use a small number of essential technologies needed to run the site, sign you in and process payments.
- We use Google Analytics only if you accept analytics cookies.
- We do not use advertising cookies or use analytics for advertising.
- You can reject analytics and change your choice at any time.
1. What we mean by cookies
For simplicity, “cookies” in this policy also includes localStorage and sessionStorage — browser storage technologies that can store or access information on your device.
2. Strictly necessary technologies
These are required for features you request, such as signing in, remembering your privacy choice and completing checkout. They do not require consent where the applicable legal exception applies.

Stripe cookies are used on pages where payment functionality is provided. Stripe is our payment processor and its own privacy information also applies.
3. Analytics — only if you accept
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and how people use Hotels Connect. Analytics is not used for advertising and is not intended to be linked to your hotel account.
Google Analytics is not loaded unless you choose to accept analytics cookies. If you decline, the analytics script is not loaded.

Analytics may involve technical information such as your IP address, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, and general device and browser information. Google may process analytics data outside your country, including in the United States, using applicable transfer safeguards. We have disabled Google Signals and Google Ads data sharing.
4. Other third-party services
Hotels Connect also uses:
- Google Maps / Places API, to support hotel/property search on relevant pages; and
- Google Fonts, to provide website typefaces.
These services may receive technical information such as your IP address when their resources are loaded. Their own privacy information may also apply.
5. Changing your choice
Use the Cookie settings link in the footer to accept, reject or change analytics at any time. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may prevent features such as sign-in or checkout from working.
6. Changes and contact
If we add or materially change cookies or third-party technologies, we will update this policy and ask for consent again where required.
